Mission Duration: 20 minutes
An Australian spy satellite, of which the United Nations denies any knowledge of, has crash-landed in the mountainous terrain of south eastern Cambodia. The satellite contains top secret information of the nations of southern Asia and as far
a field as Japan. The Cambodian military and their government are aware of the crash landing and have used their intelligence to provide an estimate of the point of impact. The Australian government has deployed an elite squadron of assault pioneers to locate and retrieve the downed satellite returning it to home soil.
The Cambodian military is under strict orders to retrieve the satellite and return it to their headquarters for inspection by government officials. They have been ordered to retrieve at all costs and are willing to take out a few Australian in the process. The Australians are also under strict orders to locate the satellite, inspect the crash site for any pieces from the crash and to return the satellite to Australia or the closest commonwealth nation. If they are to come under fire from an enemy they are to secure the satellite and pull back to an extraction point.
Should the enemy overrun the Australian force then they are to destroy the satellite to prevent it falling into the enemy’s hands. Another problem that seems to be present for both the military forces is the presence of the Khmer Rouge in the area. The Khmer Rouge has also spotted the satellite as it fell from their headquarters deep in the Cambodian jungles. They have deployed a large group of their men to retrieve the satellite for a ransom to the respective country it belongs to.
The Khmer Rouge are already at the crash site and are attempting to relocate the satellite to their base when the Cambodian military arrives as well as the Australian military and a three way fire fight ensues.
Mission Objectives
Objectives for all three forces:
Retrieve the Satellite body - 100 points
Retrieve main camera unit - 100 points
Retrieve "black-box" - 50 points
Each Surviving Soldier and unused replacement- 5 points
Players can only move an object if they are living. Objects cannot be taken from enemy players that are still alive.
Cambodian Force:
Start 100 metres up the mountain track from the location of the crash site. This is where the 14 replacements are available from as well.
