***TRANSMISSION RECEIVED***
In light of recent ‘disturbances’ in the North
Western villages, Fort Iron has become the focus of Viet Cong
guerilla attacks. Fort Iron needs reinforcements and medical supplies urgently
and due to the monsoon North of the Fort they are unable to be air
dropped safely. Your
squad consists of 12 soldiers are being inserted within 30 km of
the Fort by Hercules choppers.
Each squad will carry medical supplies and act
independently to maximize the chance of a squad reaching Fort Iron
and relieving their wounded men.
Once the Fort is reached it should be easily defended with
the increased garrison. Also
all communication is cut throughout the jungle due to the thick
canopy, this means your on your own to the Fort.
Be aware guerillas are throughout the area and will attack.
PRIMARY
OBJECTIVES – Reach Fort Iron with the medical supplies.

MARINE POINT SCORING
150 Points for getting the supplies
to Fort Iron
5 Points per survivor
50 Point Bonus if all team arrives
alive at Fort Iron
RULES
NO reserves.
The medical supplies are assumed to
be heavy and take 2 appointed people to carry.
(A large sandbag with a hat taped on?) If the medical
supplies are being moved they must be carried by 2 people, one
must be the medic. The
carriers are unable to run or crawl because of the fragile nature
of the supplies. If
they are seen running or with one person carrying the whole team
will be considered overrun by VC forces and disqualified.
The medical supplies have 3 hit points and if
destroyed the marines may do as they wish (Sand Bag with the
Starbase on top with 3 hit points).

BRIEFING

***TRANSIMISSION
RECEIVED***
Several
villages housing rebel contingents have been found completely
destroyed with no trace of attackers.
These must be associated with the US ‘vampire’ or SAD
missions. In retaliation the VC leaders have ordered attacks on the US
Fort Iron be commenced. Already
the Fort is under duress from guerilla troops and reinforcements
are expected to be coming from southern Fort Stormhold.
If Fort Iron is to be overrun these reinforcements must be
intercepted and destroyed. VC
forces are stretched for such an attack so take all necessary
caution.
The
Marines are likely to be better equipped with modern assault
rifles but can be taken at range from concealed positions.
***TRANSMISSION

PRIMARY
OBJECTIVES – Destroy all
reinforcements.
