BACKGROUND:
A new terrorist organisation called the L337 Krew has threatened to destroy major targets if their demands are not met. Unfortunately their demands are chillingly simple. Every person in a major position of power is to step aside and allow themselves to be judged. We have seen their judging, and nobody deserves to die like that. We have some in-depth Intel on their targets and their means of destruction, but it is feared that they have access to a nuclear arsenal. The L337 Krew have promised a baptism of fire for anyone who doesn't meet their standards, and it is believed that they are in league with PHOENIX, the American terrorist group who promise the destruction of the world and their organization and supporters being the only ones emerging from the ashes.

The L337 Krew have been responsible for a number of recent car-bombings, kidnappings, riots and other general terrorist behaviour, but their violent actions escalated when they notified the UN peace summit in Yugoslavia that there was a bomb inside the building. Exact details are enclosed in this briefing. The chaos caused by this bomb threat was immense, with the negotiations that were making decent progress deteriorating very quickly. Were still trying to patch those relations up. It turned out to be a hoax, with no real bomb actually detonated, however, a large mock-up bomb was found with the list of current demands aimed at world leaders. The United Nations deems their actions uncouth and cowardly, but at this stage those appropriate words have enraged the leaders of L337 Krew, with their deadline shortened.

There was nothing heard from the L337 Krew for months until last week. We were contacted by an inside source with a list of new targets. It is believed that these targets are going to be taken out by the L337 Krew as an object lesson, an eye-opener for the world to show that they sell hot burritos and not cold fish. For obvious security reasons the whole list cannot be given to you in this briefing, but there is one major target that is of concern to us. As those of you in our employ know by now, there is a major scientific research facility not far from this location. This facility houses nuclear and biological material that is being used to generate both weapons, and possibly cures for common diseases. The latest cancer treatment surfaced out of this laboratory, and with the aid of the United States of America and the United Kingdom, we hope to have cures for other diseases later this decade.

Needless to say that if this facility were compromised, there would be a serious biological and nuclear threat. That's where L337 Krew come into the picture. Our inside source in their organization say that they have not only received the co-ordinates of this facility, they have compromised it. We haven't been able to establish contact with the facility yet to either confirm or deny the rumours, but by the lack of communication, we fear the worst possible scenario. We need your team to head out to this facility and supply either positive or negative Intel to our Staff.

******AT THIS POINT IN TIME THE BRIEFING OFFICER RECEIVES AN ENCODED TELEPHONE CALL******

Alright people, listen up!
Weve just had confirmation from a re-supply Chopper that the facility has been compromised! They followed their safety protocol and conducted a security fly-by of the site and found that there were areas that had sustained damage from explosives. The general area was subject to some kind of raid or attack, with heavy vehicle tracks moving into and out of the facility perimeter. The pilot and door-gunner on the re-supply chopper were able to identify the bodies of scientists that were working in the facility and L337 Krew sentries that were posted outside the facility entrance. They were all dead. ASIO has just confirmed that there has been a massive containment failure inside the facility due to L337 Krew tampering, and satellite images show that there is an airborne contaminant that has escaped into the atmosphere. But thats not all.

Within the facility, scientists were also working on cloning experiments. They were trying to splice alien DNA that was recovered from the Roswell crash site with that of Human DNA. The results were favourable to start off with, but the scientists gradually lost control of the subjects they had created, with many having to be contained in bio-hazard areas on sub-level thirteen. It appears that L337 Krew members posing as the re-supply team penetrated the facility and gained control through deadly force. Once inside they started creating general mayhem by shutting down the containment security system, releasing several new strains of Ebola Brahma and Biobubonicus 3B3. (African Ebola and the Black Plague) these viral agents were confiscated from the Russian Breakaway Republican Army last year in raids made by Rainbow Six members and have been kept in our facility due to its remote location. These agents were not able to be destroyed due to their nature, so they were stored. An ironic twist in all of this is that the L337 Krew terrorists that penetrated the facility were killed upon the release of these agents.

However, sensors within the facility have picked up movement from the containment areas on sub-level thirteen, which isnt good. It appears that some, if not all the cloning experiments have escaped. Some of them are bound to have reached the surface, which brings me to your mission. We fear that a device spotted by satellite is a nuclear device. It is positioned directly above the facilities nuclear reactor, which will, if the device is detonated, go critical mass and melt down. When the meltdown occurs, the biological agents stored within the facility will be thrown into the atmosphere, along with the radioactive fallout. This is not believed to be what L337 Krew agents had in mind, but it will definitely do the job. We have a map of the area for your commanding officers disposal, and at this point in time we believe that there are no L337 Krew agents in the area. But stay Frosty and be alert for any Clones that may have escaped to the surface.

MISSION:
The mission is for a small force of Special Counter-Insurgency Operatives (SCIO) to tactically insert into the mission area and neutralise the threats posed by the nuclear weapon, L337 Krew terrorists that may be in the area and any Alien Clones that have escaped from the research facility. The Commanding Officer of the SCIO forces knows the approximate whereabouts, but will have to search for the entrance to secure it and make sure no more Alien Clones escape to the surface. The CO must also locate and disarm the nuclear device planted by L337 Krew terrorists.

SCIO:
There are 7-9 SCIOs in your force. An Osprey VTOL (Vertical Take Off and Landing) will insert the team and then possibly stay within the local area for fire support. The SCIO insertion team has the following assets available:
1x FA-89 Minimi (Squad support weapon  Viper Morita)
6 x FA-88 Aussteyr (Pulse Rifle)
2 x MP5 (Spitfire with red dot scope)

A backup force is available on stand-by if required and can be dropped at the force leaders request within 5 minutes of that notice. When the backup force arrives, all replacements must be taken immediately.

L337 Krew
The enemy in the mission is the terrorist group L337 Krew and several Alien Clones that have escaped confinement and headed for freedom at the surface. L337 Krew terrorists are severely demoralised after their commanding officer released the airborne contagion, that killed several of their comrades in the immediate vicinity in a rather horrible manner. L337 Krew players are scared and wanting to flee the area as quickly as possible as the people they had transporting the Nuclear device were killed by Alien Clones that Escaped from sub-level thirteen.

The 7-9 enemy terrorists armed like so:
2 x AK47 Assault rifles (Combat Rifle)
4 x AKM74 (Telescopic SMGs)

3 x UZI (Spitfire)

4 Hit Points per L337 Krew

Deployment: Anywhere on 3rd level of any building

ALIEN CLONES
The alien clones are very similar to Xenoborg Variants found in some of the earlier missions. They have weaponry built/spliced into their bodies, which make them the equivalent to fully automatic weapons. They are equipped with smart-sensors and are hard to kill.

SmartSensor Configuration 5 that includes 2 regenerative shields and 4 hit points.

2 x Spikes (Auto Pistol/LRP combination)

3 x War Bot (99 Rnd Morita)

2 x Mini-War Bot (Combat Rifle)

BRIEFINGS: SCIO
You are an elite Australian Special Counter-Insurgency Operative (SCIO) who has been called up by the powers-that-be to be a solution to the situation at the RAZOR ICE facility. Most of the information is still regarded as sensitive material, but you and your team is to be inserted into the immediate vicinity of the RAZOR ICE biological research and containment facility where L337 Krew terrorists have created a containment nightmare. You have been briefed on the situation and are ready to rumble!
Your mission is to locate the hidden entrance of the RAZOR ICE facility and seal it temporarily, making it impossible for anyone or anything inside the facility to escape, or enter. You have been given sensory equipment to place near the entrance. The sensors will alert a larger CLEANING CREW that has been placed on STANDBY by the Australian government in case of biological ENTITIES escaping from within the facility.

You and your squad is to then proceed to your Secondary Objective, which is the location of the Nuclear Device left behind by L337 Krew terrorists. You are to then disarm the Nuclear Device.

BRIEFINGS: L337 Krew terrorist forces
You and your crew are part of the L337 Krew terrorist Organization. Your goals is the destruction of the Socio-economic structure that has allowed the rich to get richer, the powerful get unstoppable, and the evil ones in the world to get into positions of control. You are affiliated with PHOENIX, another terrorist group with similar views to your own. They are better equipped and funded, backed by a super-power that is using both organizations to create havoc. Their support has allowed L337 Krew and PHOENIX to come into possession of several small TACTICAL NUCLEAR DEVICES. You have also been given the co-ordinates of a secret research facility that contains many, many useful items that will aid your cause of world dominations through chaos!

Your commanding officer, yourself and a small group of fanatics start moving towards the area the facility is in with righteous intent. You enter the facility, posing as the re-supply team sent by the weak willed Australian government. Your team of armed fanatics quickly overpower the feeble scientists and you begin extraction of your new tools of destruction. Unfortunately, your commanding officer has not taken the advice of one of the senior scientists before he executed her, and has turned the main power off to the security on sub-levels 5-13. After about 5 minutes alarm bells start ringing and a frightening klaxon wails as the whole facility changes to auxiliary power. You can hear the screams and death-gurgles of your comrades in the lower levels as the viral containment freezers shut down and spew forth their deadly secrets. There is also something else.

The scientist warned about an experiment on sub-level 13 that was extremely sensitive and dangerous, which is where your commanding officer and his command group were heading before the alarms went off. You try and reach them on their two-way radio, only to hear what sounds like the crunching of bones being eaten! You assume command of a now deathly frightened crew and decide to sit tight in the main control room. The scientists that you had taken prisoners now become comrades in the long wait to see if your CO is coming back. You still have the Nuclear Warhead to plant and there was still time to kill before the PHOENIX armoured personnel carriers came back to pick you up. The wait is agonising.

Suddenly, the airlock to the main control room is activated, and you move over to the main console to check if it is your CO being decontaminated. The security monitors show something else! There is some kind of CREATURES INSIDE THE AIRLOCK!!!! They are part human, part machine, part alien! And theyre almost finished with the decontamination process. You fly around to the airlock to see some of your comrades waiting for the lock to disengage, obviously eager to see their CO. what greets them is a NIGHTMARE! 3 of your men are killed within seconds of the airlock door opening. What emerges makes your blood run cold. The security monitors didnt do these THINGS justice. They are ten times as scary and 4 times bigger than you first thought, and there are 5 of them. Some of your men decide to fire upon these abominations, which buys the rest of you time to escape, dragging the Nuke with you.

You steal a glance over your shoulder and see one of the THINGS go down under a hail of withering automatic gunfire, and your spirit soars. But your victory is short-lived as the other THINGS converge on the remaining men, killing them with combinations of their Cyber weapons, talons, and fangs. You dont wait to see if they survive as you and the remaining L337 Krew terrorists dive through the entrance and into the safety of the buildings above ground. You and your men wait to see if you are being followed by the THINGS while waiting for the PHOENIX APCs to arrive. One of your men come up with the bright notion of planting the Nuke anyway, even if its just to kill those things and cover the mistake the L337 Krew made. Its a good idea and your men get to work.

BRIEFING: ALIEN CLONES
You were born into this world as a THING. You have genetic memories of your ancestors conquering worlds amongst the stars, enslaving entire races for the greater cause

DOMINATION
You were genetically reproduced by the inferior human race. They used DNA from your brethrens crash site in Roswell New Mexico to spawn you as a tool for their wars. What they didnt count on is your ability to survive and resistance to their pitiful mind control devices. The only thing you can thank them for is the armament that they have foolishly given you.

You can sense trouble and hear the Neanderthal projectile weapons that the inferior humans use to dispatch each other. It is only a matter of time before someone makes the mistake of releasing you and your brothers from these hurtful prisons.


OBJECTIVES:
ALIEN CLONES

1. KILL THEM ALL!! Make them pay dearly for your detainment (100 points for killing either other team, 200 points if the Nuke goes off)

Others of your race have felt your awakening via Extra Sensory Perception (ESP) and are on their way with an advance invasion force. Roswell in 1952 was a scout ship that lost control during atmospheric entry. The resulting impact with the granite beneath the sand in New Mexico killed all but 20 of your race. Those 20 were detained and then imprisoned by the inferior human race and tested upon. They defiled and dishonoured your dead by conducting autopsies and scientific tests on them. Payback is sweet. Revenge is sweeter. The escaped Alien Clones do not care if they live or die, as they are of a collective mind similar to the Borg. What they have seen, their race has also seen. The Alien Clones are merely out for simple revenge. They are going to kill any and all humans they find in the immediate vicinity. If they are not satisfied with those kills, they will seek more within civilised townships and cities there will be revenge.

NB: there are no failure variables for the Alien Clones, as they fear not death. They welcome the thought of the devastation caused by the nuclear explosion and resulting fallout and nuclear freeze. Their race is not affected by simple gamma and beta radiation. Unfortunately their bodies are made up of an organic compound. So they are somewhat vulnerable to projectiles.
They can be killed.

OBJECTIVES:
SCIO

Secondary Obj. is to find and seal the entrance to the RAZOR ICE facility and place the sensors provided within three meters. (50 points)

Secondary Obj. is to eliminate any Alien Clones that have escaped from the facility. These are classified as liabilities and the Australian government has placed a priority on eliminating them. (100 points)

TARGET OF OPPORTUNITY. If all the L337 Krew forces are killed (50 points).

FAILURE VARIABLES:
SCIO

If the Nuclear Device is not found and defused. (however, the L337 Krew are looking for the device as well. They realise that they will not reach minimum safe distance before the Nuclear Device detonates, therefore they are trying to diffuse it as well. Co-operative play may help both teams complete their primary objectives)

If the Nuclear weapon is diffused and removed by the L337 Krew, as they will be able to re-use the Nuclear Device somewhere else.

If all of the SCIO team is killed (either by the Alien Clones or L337 Krew)

Co-operative play between the SCIO and L337 Krew terrorists will be tolerated to defuse the Nuke as this will ensure the survival of both teams a little longer at least.

OBJECTIVES:
L337 Krew

Primary Obj. is to find where you hid the Nuke and diffuse it for removal and use at another target. (200 points)

Secondary Obj. it to remove the Nuke from the area. (100 points)

TARGET OF OPPORTUNITY. If all the SCIO forces and Alien Clones are killed (100 points).

FAILURE VARIABLES:
L337 Krew

If the Nuke is not found, or is found by SCIO forces and captured.

If the Alien Clones or the SCIO forces kill all L337 Krew terrorists.

If at the end of game time the Nuke has not been removed from the field by L337 Krew terrorists.
