Background: After news of the humiliating defeat of the
SAS forces reached the world press, Australian public opinion has forced the
politicians to scale back operations on Wakonga, adopting a more defensive
mode. With renewed support for their
cause flowing from all over the world, the rebels are encouraged to begin
full-scale offensive actions. After
receiving great praise for his actions in sector 42, the rebel commander is
given the most important mission of all…
SAS Mission
Background: With their new orders to dig in and hold the
important parts of Wakonga, the SAS enter a defensive mode. Their specific mission is to defend a new
intelligence gathering centre/radar post in sector 42. This facility will ensure greater warning of
enemy attacks, once it’s finished. As
it stands, it has already found evidence of a massing enemy attack. The target…the facility itself! The SAS platoon, now alerted, is sending
extra men to support the section already in place. They must defend it at all costs. Of course, it would be even better if the rebels were totally
unable to find the facility at all…

SAS
have communications (represented by the Lieutenant and the Sergeant carrying a
radio.) These can be handed over to
another member of the squad if any of them are “killed.”
-
If
the charges are removed within a minute of placement, they are defused (referee
must be on hand to judge)
Rebel Mission
Background: Your spy has reported that the Australians
are building a very advanced early warning centre in sector 42. If this is finished, the Australians will
know what you are planning almost before you do! You must found out where this facility is, so your newly created
artillery company can destroy it before it becomes fully operational. Of course, if you can destroy the facility
yourselves, this will save the artillery for other important missions…
