Background: After the shocking evidence of the many
rebel massacres reached the world press, public opinion turns drastically
against the rebel forces. Because of
this, the government, and their Australian allies, decide to conduct a series
of offensive actions against the rebels.
The SAS platoon also has an offensive mission to conduct in sector 42,
against the rebel cell hidden in that area…
SAS Mission
Background: Thanks to your success in finding the
evidence, you are know free to conduct actual attacks against the rebels in
your area. According to intelligence
reports, the rebels are stockpiling a large amount of weapons, ammunition, and
explosive in an ammo dump somewhere in sector 42. Your mission is to find the ammo dump, and then, if it’s
possible, destroy it with explosive charges.
One man from each section is a demolition expert, and is carrying
several charges to use at the ammo dump.
If for whatever reason, you are unable to destroy the dump, report it’s
location so it can be destroyed by air strikes. The rebels will probably be able to remove a large quantity of
munitions before the aircraft arrive, but some will be destroyed. However, blowing the dump up with charges
will prove more effective…
SAS Mission

SAS Special
rules:
-
SAS
have communications (represented by the Lieutenant and the Sergeant carrying a
radio.) These can be handed over to another
member of the squad if any of them are “killed.”
-
Corporals
are demolition experts, carrying 2 star sensors in a military pack or gun
bag. Must turn them on when they reach
dump and then shoot them down to 0 hit points to explode.
Rebel Mission
Background: Due to the failure of the now liquidated
former commander to collect the evidence, your forces must now keep a low
profile. To that end, your forces are
building up a stockpile of munitions for future actions. Your orders are to protect this ammo dump at
all costs. Fortunately, your spy has
provided info that the SAS platoon in your area are preparing a raid on the
munitions dump, so, in addition to the section already guarding the dump, you
can send even more forces to guard it.
The high command have ordered you to prevent the SAS from reaching the
dump, or, failing that, prevent the demolition experts from destroying it. Fail to do so, and you may very well go the
way of your predecessor…
