Background: The year is 1940, and the whole world holds it’s breath, waiting to find out the plans of Nazi Germany, in it’s war against Britain and France.  For months, a state of “Phoney War” has been holding on the western front, and both sides are eager to fight, and get this war over with.  Then, on May 10^th, 1940, the German war machine struck, attacking Belgium, the Netherlands, and France.  Unfortunately for the Allies, the Nazi’s struck in the one sector where an attack was not expected, and thus was only lightly guarded…the Ardennes Forest, near Sudan.  German panzer corps broke through with horrifying speed and power, quickly overwhelming the French infantry units guarding the border.  The Allies, realizing their positioning placed them in grave danger, must evacuate.  Units of the French Foreign Legion have been called in to stem the German advance, so as to give as many units as possible time to retreat.  Your unit is one of the units called in.  You must hold your position for 30 mins, before you may retreat with the rest of the army.  Of course, the German Wehrmacht and Shutzstaffeln (SS) units that are approaching your position are determined to fight right through you…  

Special Rules:

• SMG must be left on full auto, and no grenade launcher can be used
• Morita must be on full auto, long range mode
• Combat Rifle on single shot mode
• Machine gunner and loader must be within 1 meter of each other, or else gun can’t be moved, or fired

French Foreign Legion Briefing

Objectives/Victory Points: 

• Hold the bridge near the armoury for 30 mins - 200 points
• Kill all the Germans - 100 points
• Every surviving French Legionnaire - 10 points

Starting Point: Creekbed near Armoury 

Number of Soldiers: 7 + 10 replacements  

Hit Points: 5 (Legionnaires are the elite troops, best of the best)
