Kids will play our high tech "hide and seek" around just about
anything you can hide behind.
Check out these photos (below) of what other Mums and Dads have done to
transform their backyards from mild-mannered suburbs to the deep
jungles of the Amazon or the deserts of the French Foreign
Legion.
Or if you have some cardboard boxes left over from the last time
you moved, you might like to paint them to keep in your theme.
Basically our game is high tech hide and seek. So if your kids
can find something, ANYTHING!, to hide behind, they will. :-)
Mission Briefing Suggestion
Here's what we suggest you say, to get the ball rollin':
"Listen Up! Ok. You all have a phaser. We have two teams:
The Red Team: Team “Delta” [or whatever you want to call
them!]
And the Blue Team: Team “Bravo”
Turn all the phasers with your key and once the units say “ready” on
the status bar at the bottom of the display, use the master controller to
end the game.
"Aim with the red-dot scope or peep-sight.
When you are de-activated come back to your start point to get reactivated
via the medic box." Remember the medic box will only reactivate phasers that
have the same colour as the box. "Red team let’s move out.
Blue team move out." Then use the start function on the master
controller and say "Everybody ready?
Red team go. Blue team go!"
