IN GENERAL
- No physical contact
- No behaviour is allowed that could cause
injury to any person
- No one is to use their phasers before the
whistle is blown
- If you hear 2 short whistles, freeze position and stop
firing. This is a time out situation that is sometimes
required for injuries or sensor checks
- The mission will be signaled as finished by one whistle
blow.
- When yours weapon says "dead"
you must take off your sensor hat or helmet and return to the
armoury. You are not allowed to speak to anyone. This includes
gestures.
- Note that the infra-red can bounce, particularly with the
high powered phasers, and therefore result in tagging your
team mates. Make sure you have a clear line of fire.
- The organisers reserve the right to re-organise the teams
before each mission to ensure balance.
- Everyone must complete and sign the
disclaimer before participating, to indicate that you play at
your own risk and you understand there are some risks
involved.
- No one is to leave the battlefield with
any lasertag equipment.
- Laster Tag is a non-contact sport, do
not do anything that may cause injury to either yourself, or
other people, or any props in the site.
- When you have received your mission briefing your team will
go to the armoury and the armourer will hand you your phaser.
When the mission is over you will hand your phaser back to the
armourer. He/she will record which phaser you took at the
start of the mission and which one you brought back at the end
of the mission.
- NO real knives, blank fire pistols or any
illegal substances on the gaming ground.
- If encountering a member of
the public in the gaming ground please stop what you are
doing, answer any questions they have (nicely!) and inform
the rest of the players nearby.
- Always carry a torch and
whistle with you for night games, just to be safe.
