Party Decorations Ideas / Hints & Tips
Of course part of the fun is creating lots of interesting props
in the backyard. Some other party decoration ideas is
Blue,
black, and grey
balloons and streamers. If you have time, why not hit the local
party shop for stars, sparklers or other sci-fi themed things.
Party Food Ideas / Hints & Tips
If you want to go all out you might like to consider MREs
(Meals Ready to Eat) from army or navy surplus stores. But,
really, if you've ever eaten one of these they are not really
the best fare for kid's birthday parties. So instead you might
like to create your own "ration packs" with chocolate, crackers,
and bottles of water.
What to Wear Ideas / Hints & Tips
We recommend inviting everyone to dress-up, after all
dressing-up is half the fun!
Most kids now-a-days have some sort
of black or blue outfits in their cupboard, some even have the
full
Darth Vader regalia. And if not, hire camo coveralls from us (but
remember to let us know your size!) Either way we recommend everyone wear long pants
and covered shoes.
Loot or Goodie Bags Hints & Tips
You can order Loot Bags from Lasertag.com.au. They
have novelties in them like lollies & toy soldiers. Depending on
availability we also have torches or toy compasses or other
stuff. You can also order cool metal dog tags from us.
Icing on the Cake
One of the benefits of organizing a party is that you can choose
the cake. Get into the groove with a cool
star-ship cake. A plain sponge cake
decorated with thrusters and warp-drive engines is a fun idea. But if you are
not a wiz in the kitchen (& let’s face it who has the time?)
then let the professionals do it.
